::Cali Bamboo Rolls with Rock Stars John Mayer, Barenaked Ladies and Guster::

Cali Bamboo, recently co-sponsored the Barenaked Ladies’ Ships & Dip III and Mayercraft Carrier music cruises earlier this month.  The two cruises sailed to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas with 6,000 music fans.  Cali Bamboo founders, Jeff Goldberg and Tanner Haigwood were onboard to help spread the message of renewable resources and environmental awareness to the concert-cruise going fans of these earth conscience bands.  You can read some of the topics Jeff and Tanner covered with the fans here.

Cali Bamboo worked with event partners Sixthman and Reverb to offset the carbon emissions of the cruise while teaching cruisers how to dance through life and minimize their environmental “footprint.”  Cruisers played in the Cali Bamboo Flip Cup Tourney with Guster and attended screenings and discussions of “The 11th Hour” and “Everything’s Cool”. Other sponsors included Stonyfield Farm and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.

The Mayercraft Carrier::
Cali Bamboo also sponsored a second cruise with partners Reverb and Sixthman — the Mayercraft Carrier (actually a Carnival cruise ship) — featuring Grammy-Award winning John Mayer. VH1 filmed its Best Week Ever aboard the cruise.
