For the 11th year, CALI has earned a spot on San Diego Business Journal’s list of the region’s 100 Fastest–Growing Private Companies. 2019’s numbers propelled the green building products manufacturer to number eight in the category of large, privately owned companies, with sales revenue totaling $133.6 million. The previous year’s list saw CALI rank at 54.
The Journal publishes the annual rankings based on the percent of increased verified revenue over a three-year period. Between 2017 and 2019, CALI saw over 32% growth. To qualify, San Diego-based companies must have made at least $350,000 in revenue. Private organizations are grouped into small, medium, and large categories based on the number of local employees.
CALI’s growth and ranking among the top 10 reflects the manufacturer’s hard-won success in overcoming significant tariff increases on most of its products. Despite facing set-backs due to the Coronavirus pandemic, CALI expects to rank on next year’s list as well, as a steady number of American homeowners continue to improve their living spaces with new flooring and decking.
Established in 2004, CALI attributes its sustained growth to its unique omni-channel platform, innovations in eco-minded building product design, and a steadfast commitment to delivering the best value per square foot.
