Originally hailing from Brazil, Eddy is a firefighter who purchased a major fixer-upper in a beautiful South Miami neighborhood for his family of four. His friends thought he was crazy for buying a house that had walls covered in mold and a collapsed roof, but he spent countless hours transforming the property into a gorgeous place his family now calls home. A true labor of love, Eddy’s latest project was putting in a new swimming pool, complete with a poolside deck made with Slate BamDeck® Composite Decking. Eddy loves how the deck looks, holds up to extreme weather and stays cool to the touch during warm days in the Sunshine State. His next project: building a backyard halfpipe for skateboarding!
“I’ve been doing a lot of projects around the house, and I just finished the pool deck about six months ago. We always try to look for eco-friendly products, and we found Cali Bamboo online.
